Madrid, April 21, 2006. Virgin PLAY announced today that it will publish the videogame Final Armada in all European territories; the title will be released for PlayStation® 2 and PlayStation® Portable videogame systems. The Spanish videogame company has concluded an agreement with the development Studio I-Imagine Interactive to publish the game in Q3 2006.

I-Imagine Interactive is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa; was established in 1999 and are licensed developers for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Game Cube, Gameboy Advance, and PSP.

“Final Armada is the first PS2 and PSP game to be developed in South Africa, and we are excited to be working with Virgin PLAY to release it throughout Europe" said Dan Wagner, Managing Director and founder of I-Imagine Interactive. “This is the start of what we hope to be a continuous collaboration with the first distribution and publishing company of video games in Spain.”

Final Armada is a futuristic vehicular combat game that combines high-paced, frantic multi-vehicle combat with skilled strategy and story based missions; to deliver a power packed sci-fi combat adventure. Virgin Interactive's Spanish office opened its doors in 1995, under the control of Mariele Isidoro and Paco Encinas. In 1996 it distributed, amongst other titles, Resident Evil 1 for PSX, which sold 112.000 units, and Command and Conquer for PC, which achieved sales of 69.000 copies.
